GALVANS MARRIED AT MADISON, WIS., THURSDAY, OCT. 20Announcement was made Saturday of the marriage of Clarence Lyford and Misr Nettie Emery, both well known residents of this city, last Thursday at the home of the bride’s pu*vntB in Madison, Wisconsin. Very few people knew of the wedding until announcement cards were received here. Mr Lyford has resided in Galva at the home of his sister, Mrs. James H Boyd, for the past 25 years He has been prominently associated with the city’s industrial activities, and is now' general manager of the Galva Heater Company. The bride has boon employed at the post office for several years. She has made her home with her grandmother, Mrs. John GEmery. Immediately after the wedding the newlyweds left on a wedding trip. Upon their return they will make their home in Galva at the home of the bride’s grandmother.It is said that Charlie Chaplin deeply loves both his native country and the land of his adoption.
