Brenda Lee Hoeing weds James Anthony Knecht011 Aug. /o. 1993 Brenda Lee Hoeing became the bride of James Anthony Knecht. Rev. William Cleary performed the double ring ceremony at 3 p.m. In the St. Mary Catholic Church. Organist for the wedding was Jeff Gates and vocalists were Jeff Gates and Annette Nlehoff.Brenda is the daughter of Sheldon and Mary Hoeing, 5344 S. 365 E., Rushvllle. James is the son of Anthony and Velma Knecht, 2148 E. 600 S., Milroy. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gust Herbert and the groom is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Knecht.Carroll Hoeing, uncle and godparent of the bride, read the readings for the Mass.Pam Hoeing served as lay ministers, while Chris Green and Joe Tragesser were servers.Earl Sturwold and Marjorie Knecht, aunt and uncle of the groom, took up the gifts at the church.Passing out programs was Debbie Disbro, cousin of the bride. Presiding at the guest register was Sherry Wood, cousin of the bride.The bride wore a satin crystal chiffon gown featuring a sweetheart neckline held by embroidered cape effect over short puffed sleeves. The basque waist was ornately hand beaded with scrolls and flowers. The apron effect skirt was heavy beading on lace appliques and floated over cascades of wired ruffles ending in a semi cathedral train. Satin bows, with dangling pearls, held the apron pickups. The bride's crystal tulle veil ^nd pouf were held by silk flowers and pearls. The bride’s jewelry consisted of diamond and pearl earrings. She carried a cascade of red and white roses and carnations, baby's-breath and spider lilies. A 14-karat gold Rosary was strung throughout the bouquet. The Rosary was borrowed from her sister.The matron of honor was Michelle Busald, sister of the bride.Bridesmaids were Brenda Erhart, sister of the groom; Darlene Knecht. sister of the groom; Julie Spaeth, sister of the groom; Debbie Navarra, cousin of the bride; Rose Hoeing, sister-in-law of the bride; and Angie Leising, friend of the bride and groom. Flower girl was Tiffany Ann Spaeth, niece of the groom.Jerry Knecht. brother of thegroom, was best man.Groomsmen were Kevin Erhart, brother-in-law of the groom; Jim Spaeth, friend of the groom; Bill Spaeth, brother-in-law of the groom; Darren Hoeing, brother of the bride; Gary Hoeing, brother of the bride; and Jeff Knecht, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Bobby Spaeth, friend of the bride and groom.Ushers were Gary Fussner, friend of the groom; Paul Busald, brother-in-law of the bride; and Ronnie Weiler, friend of the groom.Following the ceremony a buffet supper and dance was held at the Root Building. Providing the music was Stoney Creek. Serving the cake wereLinda Weiler. Susan Rogers, and Helen Busald, friends of the couple.The rehearsal dinner was held on Friday evening at the Hearthstone for approximately 30 guests. Hosts for the evening werg,Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Knecht.The bride is a 1987 graduate of Rushvllle Consolidated High School and is employed at Gecom in Greensburg.The groom is a 1984 gradu ate of RCHS and is employed at Dawson Oil and engaged in farming.The couple took a seven-day trip to Hawaii and visited the islands of Oahu, Hawaii, and Maui.They now reside at 6099 S. Base Road, Rushvllle.r
