A 200- yea r-old silver punch bowl was used.CEDAR SPRINGS, Oct. 25—A candlelight ceremony in the Cedar Springs Baptist Church united in marriage James Walter York of Mt. Pleasant and Dona Wade on Saturday night, Oct. 14. The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. George Hamer, pastor at Cedar Springs, and the Rev. Larry Hughes of Marshall.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wade of Cedar Springs.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie York of Mt. Pleasant.Mrs. Fayrene Green presented traditional wedding music for the ceremony.Miss Loreda Wade, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Attending the bridegroom as best man was Paul Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant. Carla Wade, sister of the bride, was flower girl. The maid of honor and the flower girl were both dressed in orchid colored dresses and carried a bouquet of white and orchid flowers.Bobby Harris was the ring bearer.Candles were lighted by Joe Linsey of Mt. Pleasant and Rex Cook of Mt. Pleasant. They also served as ushers. Mrs. Wade chose for her daughter’s wedding a gray suit. Mrs. York chose a pink suit for her son’s wedding.The church was decorated with the bride’s chosen colors, orchid and white.A reception followed in the fellowship hall of thechurch.The four-tiered wedding..... 1 * _ l; JThe reception table was covered with an orchid and net cloth. Mrs. Joyce Andrews and Mrs. C. B. Strickland served the guests.
