BATE-BLAt®A quiet wedding was solemnizedat St. Mary’s . Anglican church, Brandon, Oct. 8, when Rhena Vivea, younger daughter of Mrs, Black and the late A- R, Black, of Holmfield, became the bride of Hugh Crockford Bate, younger son of Mr, and Mrs. John Bate, Kil* larney. Rev. H. L. Newton officiated.The btide wore a suit of blue gabardine with navy hat and carried Sweetheart roses; She was given in marriage' bv her brother, Robert A*. Bla'ck.Mrs. Garnet Foster, Brandon, sister of the bride,'was matron of honor and Edwin Bate, brother of the bridegroom was best man.Following the reception at the United Grill, Mr. and Mrs. Bate left by car on a short wedding trip. They will reside in Killarney.
