Carrick-Swander Wedding Takes Place Oct. 24A double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Swander in North Fairfield united in marriage Miss Thelma Carrick of this city and Ralph Swander, jr. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Russell Carrick, 656 Bowman street. Rev. William Power of the North Fairfield Methodist church performed the sendee at 4.30 o’clock before an arbor of ferns and autumn leaves.Mrs. Swander’s wedding gown v as of white taffeta and she wore a finger-tip length veil. Her only jewelry was a pearl necklace, gift of the bridegroom. She carried a white Bible, gift of the pastor, and a bouquet: of white roses and blue baby’s breath. Attendants for the bride were her aunt. Mrs. Edward Scheerer of Tiffin, and her sister, Miss Lucille Carrick of Sandusky. Their gowns were in blue and pink taffeta and they carried yellow and pink chrysanthemums.Raymond McLaughlin of Cleveland, brother-m-law of the bridegroom, served as best man.
