LINSENMEYER-SPEIDEL.Miss Mamie Linsenmeyer and Mr. I John A. Speidel were united in mar- 1riage last evening at 8 o’clock at the 1 ihome of the bride’s parents, Mr. and 1Mrs. Charles Linsenmeyer, South I 1Ninth street. The impressive ceremony 1was performed by Rev. J. W. Kerr, of I ithe United Presbyterian church, in ]front of a horseshoe of asparagus and iwhite roses, and in the presence of alarge number of friends and relatives, iThe bride wore a dainty gown of white IPersian lawn, trimmed in lace, and Iwith a veil of white tulle. She carriedbride’s roses. Her attendant was Miss IVirgie Dlven, who wore a pretty gown Iof white muslin. The groom was at- [tended by Albert Johnson. The wed- jding march was played by Lehmann’s Iorchestra. Following the ceremony aline wedding supper was served, afterwhich the guests danced and made Imerry until a late hour. Both bride Iand groonv are people of wdde acquaint- Iance and have numerous friends in this 1city. The bride is a very estimable Iyoung lady, with many endearing char- Iacteristics. Mr. Speidel is an employe Iof Conrad Lutz. The out-of-town |guests w'ere Mrs. M. Walters, Mrs. C. jNelk, Mrs. C. Sehlotzhauer and Mrs. W. IWiggand, of Oquawka; Miss Schultzof Monmouth, Mrs. W. Jamison ofBiggsville, and Mr, and Mrs. TheodoreSpeidel, of Rock Island. Mr. and Mrs.Speidel will be at home November 1,at 404 South Summer street.• • •
