BEELBY-MABK.“Cedar Lodge the residence of Mr, . and Mrs. Harry Marr. late of Thornto; was the scene of a bright au(esdavwedding last- Wednesday afternoon, when the eldest daughter of the household, Miss Rosa A. Marr, was wedded to William. W.. Bee 1 by, Thornton. Rev. G. B. Greig of Qookstowh performed the ceremony. The bride’ was richly gowned in striped poplin with-trimming of lace and taffeta silk and.' -carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Her bridesmaid, Miss Jennie Banting, wore-a pretty gown of cream velour with satin stripe, the waist trimmed■wtl-U nil It- mm J el . %'with silk and- chiffon rubbings and friilsv the skirt trimmed with ruchings In loyer’8 knots, c She carried astersand roees. The bride’s going-away^ain^tjlaidwn waa a blue camel’s hair p_skirt with a plain blue broadcloth jacket over a waist of tucked taffeta silk; her hat -was pearl grey^with ostrich flumes, bird of paradise. * blue' and opal and rhinestone ornaments* The ceremoxiyibeuMrconcluded a sumptuous wedding t)reakfast was servted, after which the usual toasts were proposed, Bey. Mr. Greig acting as chairman. The bride aact groom were not the only ones to receive .'.hearty congratulations; they were . also extended to Mr. and Mrs. Marr, the day being the twentieth anniversary of .their wedding. Mrl - and Mrs;Beelby left on the afternoon train to make a. visit with relatives in Graven* hurst, after which they will take up their residence near Thornton.
