At the residence of the bride’s parents in Monmouth, by the father of the bride, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, Mr. \V. il. Vaughn, of Davenport, Iowa, and Miss Susie Matthews, daughter ol Dr. Ii. C. Matthews, of this ciiy Vaughn has won the heart and hand of one of the best and fairest of the daughters of Monmouth, who will soon win golden opinions from the good people of Davenport. We congratulate the twain on their entrance into a new life, and wish them every blessing that is showered upon those who act well their part in the journey here below.
