Roy G, Smith WedsRoy G. Smith and bride arrived hero Thursday evening from Walnut, Hi.p for a week’s visit with his mother, Mrs. A. WL Smith. The marriage of Mr. Fish and Miss Lelia Minier took place at 6 p. m, Wednesday, October 19, at Wiinut, III. Prom there the young couple came to Emmetsburg* They will leave here the last of the week for a visit with his sister who is a teacher in the high school at Cedar Rapida. They will then go to Davenport for a short visit and thence to j their home at Walnut, 1IL, where they will reside on a farm, Thu bride is a, stranger to us, but she is. very charming and prepossessing in her manner and appearance. The groom grew from childhood in this community. About nine years ago he went to Indianna where he resided until last spring when he went to South Dakota- He Is a good young man, upright, buneat, energetic and manly*- The Tribune is pleased to congratulate Mr* and Mrs. Smith and wish them a happy and prosperous wedded life* *
