Bokelman, Sciarra united in marriage Ann L. Bokelman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold “Ink” Bokelman, Greensburg, became the bride of Gregg Sciarra, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sciarra, Seymour, Sept. 26, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greensburg. Father Micheal Kelley was the celebrant of the ceremony and Joan Koors was the organist. The bride wore a tea-length gown made especially for her of ivory shimmer lace over crepe de chine, with a slim cut and soft spill of godets from just above the knee. The back was closed with tiny satin buttons and Venice lace edged the neckline, long sleeves and hem. She carried two long stemmed bridal pink roses. Trish Tangman, Seymour, was the matron of honor and wore a pink silk shanting dress styled similarly to that of the bride, featuring a bow on one side. Both gowns were created by Janet Power, of Janet’s Creations. The matron of honor carried one long-stemmed bridal pink rose. Brett Sciarra, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Michael Bokelman, brother of the bride, was the usher. Both of the mothers wore street length dresses, the mother of the bride in mauve, and the mother of the groom in light aqua. Their corsages featured white roses. Teresa Nobbe and Diane Wenning were at the guest register. A luncheon reception was held at the Pines in Greensburg. Following the honeymoon, the couple will be at home in Claypool.
