Shrewsbery. Parents of the ★ ★ ★ *groom are Mrs. Marv Hughes of Oceana and Fred Hughes of Clear Fork.Performing the ceremony at 2 p. m. was the Rev. Edward Kingsley. Mrs. F. Skelton presented a program of wedding music at the piano and Mrs. Shirley Grear was the: soloistMRS. JESSIE HUGHESI G_»en in marriage by her brother, William David Shrewsbery, the bride was attired in a formal A-line gown of peau de soie designed by her sister, Mrs. Shirley Standy.Miss Beverly Kingsley was maid of honor and Miss Linda Meadows, niece of the bride was bridesmaid. Miss Kingsley wore a floor-length A-line gown of autumn gold peau de Soie and Miss Meadows wore a Nile, green gown styled identically to the honor attendant’s. They carried cascade bouquets of white and yellow daisies.Flower girl, Kathy Shrewsbery of Beaver, was attired in a gown of soft orange and white peau de soie.Frank Hughes of Stafford, Va. was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Gary Ickes and Tracy Harrah.' Joey Cline, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer.Following a reception in the church social room, the couple left for an undisclosed wedding trip.Mrs. Hughes is a 1967 graduate of Shady Spring High School and her husband is a 1366 graduate of Baileysville High School. He is employed by Eastern Gas Associaiton.
