Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Cane announce the engagement and approaching marr of their youngest daughter, Catherine Rebecca, to Mr. Robert William Schwaner of New Orleans, La., the ceremony to take place the latter part of November.This announcement is of cordial interest to a wide circle of friends both here and in New Orleans where the bride has made her home recently with her sister, Mrs. J. li. Moore, 2634 State st., while attending Rabouin Me-%rial school. She was graduated arJune in commercial art.Miss Cane attended Murphy high school here and was a class queen at the annual Welfare day celebration during her sophomoreyear. 'C.;fMiss Cane will be here until Nov. 5 when she will return to New Orleans for a few weeks. She will be back in Mobile about a week before the wedding, which will be a church ceremony.Mr. Schwaner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fergus Schwaner and was graduated from Commy high school, New Orleans.
