Society And Clubs'Women’s Editor, Mrs. Kuth Straley ^Times-Bulletin, Von Wert, 0 , Sat., Oct. 23, 1965 3_____tlt;Couple Honored I At Anniversary Dinner, Reception sMr and Mrs Russell Dihcrt of York Township, were hon ored this week at a dinner held at Balyeats Restaurant in observance of their golden wedding anniversary.The Diherts were married Oct. 16, 1915, in the home of her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Silas Miller. The Rev. F. L. Creech performed the ceremony. Mrs. Dibert was the only daughter of the Millers and Mr. Dibert was the second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Dibert of York Township.For her wedding Mrs. Dibert wore a white brocade crepe and satin dress and the groom was attired in a navy blue suit with a white shirt and black bow tie.' The couple has resided at the same farm in York Township since their wedding.Those attending the anniver sarv observance included 14 family members and the Rev and Mrs. Robert Dobson and Mrs Flossie Carson of Tampa.1 Fla Rev. Dobson asked the blessing. Members of the din ner party were all presented corsages and boutonnieres of yellow roses and carnations.Mrs. Dibert wore a black and brown brocade dress accented with a white orchid corsage tied with white and gold ribbon. Mr Dibert wore a dark suit and had a boutonniere of two yellow rosebuds.The Diberts are the parents of three children. Edsel of Ohio 1 City, Mrs. Darrel (Dortha) Prior of York Township, and Mrs. Lloyd (Eloise) Kiracofe of ; Pittsburgh, Penn. They have six j grandchildren.I After the dinner a reception and open house was held for the couple in their home. Arrangements of fall flowers and yellow mums and decorations symbolic of a golden wedding were used throughout the home.The lace covered reception . table was centered with a three ! t tiered anniversary cake topped I with a miniature bride and . groom ornament and decorated F with yellow roses. Floral and crystal candelabra with yellow t chrysanthemum trim and white tapers completed the table I decorations.Cake, punch, coffee, nuts and . mints were served by Mrs. Evelyn Heath and Mrs. Roberta . Miller, nieces of the couple, and r Mrs. Maxine Amerman, Mrs Grace Profit and Mrs. Helen I Neate, close friends.Out of towm guests attending , the reception were:Mrs. Nellie Y a k e I.
