A double ring service united Miss Dorothy Fojt and Fred Siegel in marriage Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock at Sts. Cyril and Methodius’ Church with Nuptial Mass, the Rev. J J.. Ha-nacek officiating.The candle lit altar was effective in white gladioli and fern. The choir of S. L. Academy rendered the music.The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Willie Fojt, the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Siegel .Witnesses were Erwin Fojt and John Siegel brothers of the bride and groom respectively.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white ninon crepe fashioned with fitted basque waist and bouffant skirt. Pearlized orange blossoms held her net illusion finger tip veil. She wore a matching two-strand pearl necklace and ear bobs, and«ear-' ried a prayer book, also a tiny bouquet of carnations, showered ■with dainty white satin streamers interlaced with carnations.Misses Vanice Cervenka, cousin of the bride, Miss Mary Siegel, o^usin of the groom, Miss Willie Mae Fojt, sister of the bride, Miss Edith Faldik, bridesmaids, wore ninon costumes, made along identical lines. These gowns were light blue, white, pale yellow and aqua, respectively, and were accented by flowers in harmonizing shades and in sheaf design and s! lowered with streamers in blending tones. Dainty nosegayswere worn in the hair.The groomsmen were Laddie Siegel, Leonard Darilek, Daniel Cervenka, Johnnie Machacek, they wore gray and brown business suits, their coat lapel flower was a rose bud. Aster but-tonaires were worn by the fathers, who wore dark suits.The groom wore a brown suit v;ith coat lapel flower of carnation. He is a graduate of Shiner High, served in the Army three years, with 30 months spent in the E. T. O. and Pacific Theatre.The mothers selected black crepe frocks with shoulder corsages of miniature mums.A reception, dinner and supper was held at the bride’s home, the traditional vredding cake centering the table.A dance at Blucher Park atnight concluded the festivities with Rudy Kurtz playing.After a brief honeymoon the young couple will reside at 215 W. Morris, Yoakum, where both are employed at the Pietsch and Eoysen Locker plant.
