Miss Rose Marie Prazak WedsJohn Dirba in Wallis ChurchGowned in white lace, Miss Rose Marie Prazak. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Venril H. Pra-/ak. of Wallis, berame the bride of John J. Dirba. Jr., son of Mr and Mrs. John Dirba, Sr., of Sealy, in a 10:30 o'clock ceremony on Sunday, October 11, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis. The Rev. A W. Nesvadba performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of white chrysanthemumson the altars anti in two lnrg/ baskets at the altar railing. Pew markers marked pews for the wedding party.Miss Clarice Knesek was organist and Misses Jeanette Mal-er and Barbara Prochaska were soloists.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white ehantilly lace styled with dipped V bod ice and beaded with rhinestones and miniature seed pearls. Scalloped neckline and long sleeves topped the lace skirt which opened in front to show a cascade of ninon ruffles down the front. Her bridal veil was pure silk and held with a tiara-type crown of miniature pearls and crystal beads in finger tip length. She carried a bouquet of white roses centered with a purple orchid.Miss Patricia Ann Gallia w’as maid f honor and bridesmaids were Misses Marilvn Prazak. Maureen Polasek, Soharlene Payne, Charlene Valerian, Mary Lou Soukup. Flower girls were Cheryl and Carol Prazak. sisters of the bride. Doris Soukup was also flower girl.The bridesmaids and maid ofhonor wore dresses made with cherry pink velveteen tops and white pleated brocade skirts in street length accented with with rhinestone buckles. Thev carried nosegays f 'had*d nink roses and cherry pink stream-iIgirl was dressed in white and earried a nosegay like the bridesmaids.Henry Manna was D-st man, anti groomsmen were Vencil Prazak. Johnny Prazak, Nor-lK*rt Slanina. Joe Urban, and Michael Gallia. Garrv Prazak was rini'bearer. and ushers were George Gallia, Frank Dirba, Jo Prochaska. Jr., and I-arry 7,ur-ek. Frankie Gallia, I-arry Gallia, and Henry Valerian, Jr.served as candlelighters and altar lxys, Witnesses were Charles Viaclovsky of Wallis and*Henrv Dirba of Sealy.thmlt;M;NiSetieanpeerofskehprscellThe bride's mother wore a royal blue crepe dress with black accessories. The grr»om's mother selected pink brocade with tan accessories.The reception followed at the Catholic Youth Center, where guests were registered by Miss Marv Catherine Gallia of Ros-enberg. A barbecue dinner and supper were served with all the trimmings and a dance was held at the American Legion Hall atnight, with Mr. and Mrs. HenryViktotian leading the march.The wedding cake, baked by the bride’s mother, was a stairway cross design with four tiers high. Large shaded pink roses and l)clls ornamented the cake and sugar bells with ‘'John” and Rose” were placed at the base. Bride and groom statuett-!es with a gold cross behicdthem adorned the top of the cake.For the trip to San Antonio, the bride chose a red wool suit with black accessories and herwedding orchid.The groom is employed at ■Joe's Paper Company in Houston.
