MONTICELLO (IOWA) EXPRESS, OCT. 22, 1959Penny Peck Of And rewHOPKINTON —The Immaculate Conception church at Cedar Rapids was the setting Saturday morning Oct. 17 at. 10 a.m. for the wedding of Penny Peck, daughter of Mrs. Florence Handel of Cedar Rapids to Andrew J, Offerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Offerman of rural Hopkinton-Coggon, Rev. E. J.Frese officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride's gown of nylon net over taffeta was' designed* with basque waist, scalloped sabrina neckline, short sleeves and full skirt. A matching half h6t held her circular net veil and she carried red and white roses.Marie Crieff, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Sharon MillerBride Offermanand Cynthia Stammeyer were bridesmaids. They were attired in blue, yellow and white dresses with matching head bands and carried bronze mums.DONALD DeSHAW OF HOPJON-ton was best man. Virgil Offerman and Bernard Goedken, both of Monti-cello were groomsmen.A reception for 100 guests was held in the Sokol Hall in Cedar Rapids following the ceremony.The bride is employed in the Cryovac Industries office in Cedar Rapids.
