Nancy S. Averill Robert Roy Willig Bridal AnnouncedMina Nancy Stearns Averill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Robert M. Averill of Strafford, Penn a,, formerly of Senrsdnle, was married on Oct. Id to Robert Roy Willig, son of Mr, and Mrs, Roy C. Willig of Westfield, NJ, The ceremony took place in the Washington Memorial Chapel at Valley Forge, Pennn., with the Rev. Dr. John Robbins Hart officiating. A small reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white wallz-lengtii gown of silk and lace, featuring a portrait neckline and princess bodice. Her tiara headdress was embroidered with seed pearls and her veil was of illusion net. She carried a bouquet of cascading white carnations, stephan-otis and orchids.Miss Jeanne Averill was maid of honor for her sister, while the bridesmaids were Miss Susan Powers of Rockville Centre and Mrs. R. Kenneth Webster of New York City. They were attired in peacock blue erystalette gowns and carried cascading bouquets of pale yellow carnations.Vance Willig of Morristown, N.I. was best man, and the ushers were Robert M. Averill, Jr., brother of the bride, and Richard Mason of Maplewood, NJ.Mrs. Willig is a graduate of Scarsdale High School and St. Lawrence University and a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Kappa Kappa Gamma.Mr, Willig, a member of Beta Thela Pi, is also a graduate of St. Lawrence University, He is associated with the General Motors Corp. in Arlington. Texas.After a short wedding trip in the East, the couple will motor to Texas where they will make their home.
