Kehe, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kohe were united in the holy bonds of wedlock by Rev. Chas. Noack at St. Peter’s Lutheran church. Arlington Heights, Saturday, Oct. 16, 1915 at 4 o’clock p. m.The handsome bride looked charming in her wedding gown of white charmousse entraine. She wore a long silk veil with the bridal wreath worn by her mother 21 years ago. She carried a bouquet of bride’s roses and lillies of the valley. !The groom wore the conventional black. jThe maid of honor, Miss Margaret Krause, sister of the bride, wore a handsome pink dress and belt under white rice cloth. The other brides maids were Miss Lydia Kehe and Miss drace Williams, of Huntley, both dressed in white crepedechine.Edward J. Kehe, brother, of the groom, was best man. Walter Krause Jr., brother of the bride, and William Kehe, a cousin, were groomsmen.The bridal party formed in pro- j lt;ession in the vestibule. The bridesmaids, followed by the bride and maid of honor, led the procession up one aisle, while the groomsmen, best man 1 and groom, met them at the altar, i where the ring ceremony was perform- i ed by Rev. Chas Noack, pastor, after which the Maennerchor of which the groom is a member, sang a German hymn. jThe wedding party in autos, was quickly taken to the home of the groom, where elaborate preparations had been made to entertain the invited guests. The wedding menu of the wedding feast contained all the good things for which German house- lt;wives are renowned. The decorations were in white and pink. Beneath a large tent the dance floor had been laid and it wras here until three the following morning that the people, hoth young and old enjoyed themselves. .*’!The happy bride and groom left ona honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls and on their return, will reside in a new house in the Krause subdivision on Belmont Ave., along side of the groom’s parents.The bride and groom are popular! young people of Arlington Heights and the joining of two such wnll known families has created more than a little interest throughout this vicinity.
