Robertson’s.A few of the friends, from this place and Newkirk, surprised Mrs. Clara Boswell with an' apron shower last Friday, it being her fifty-eighth birthday anniversary.The members of the Newkirk band and families gathered at the home of Eli Dean Thursday night as a surprise to Mrs. Dean, it being her birthday anniversary. There were about fifty guests present,Robertson—IssacsA quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of J. D. Robertson, Sunday, October 19th, when his eldest daughter. Miss Bessie, was united in marriage to Jerry W. Isaacs, of Indianapolis.The wedding took place at twelve-o'clock, Elder C. V. Weddell, of Med-ora, officiating, after which about thirty guests partook of the sumptuous dinner.The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of embroidered voile and the groom wore a blue serge suit.They left Monday morning to make their future home in Indianapolis, where the groom has employment.Those present from a distance were:J.
