| CLUBS AND SOCIETY.| About thirty of the friends of Chas I ! Woodward surprised him last evening at his home on Benedict avenue and showered him with kitchen utensils. Mr, Woodward is to be married to Miss Bessie Hazard, of Detroit, next Wednesday, and the event last evening was in the nature of a kitchen shower. Rolling plus, knives, forks and many other kitchen utensils were in the collection received by Mr. uoodward last evening. The evening was spent in social enjoyment and refreshments were served.
