Vernon Fasse. Arlington. Church decorations were baskets of veri-colored moms. Mrs. Howard Schwarts, Wlnthrop, was accompanist for Mrs. Cay Bowden, West Union, and Lola Schlumbohm, Aurora, who sang O Perfect Love and the “Lord’s Prayer.The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her soo-Id-law, Live rn Koch, wore a three-piece blue-beige knit dress, blue pillbox hat and wedding veil. Her corsage was white mums decorated with blue ribbon.Attendants for tbe bride were her daughters, Lois Schlumbohm, maid of honor, and Mrs. Gay Bowden, brldesmatron. They wore Identical blue knit dresses, veils and corsages of white mums with blue trim.Arthur J. Lentz, Elgin, served as best man and Gay Bowden, West f Union, son-in-law of the bride, acted . as groomsman. ■A reception for 43 guests was held at the Schlumbohm farm following the ceremony. A two tier cake decorated in blue and white and topped with twin bells centered the bridal table. Host and hostess for the event were Mr. and Mrs. Harlan See do rtf, Aurora. Assistants were Mrs. Alfred Kamoss, Mrs. Fred Bowden, Laraont, and Mrs. Marie Matteson, slster-ln-lawof the bride.The Rev. Elroy Dannewit*, pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church at Aurora, offered die prayer at the reception, Elaine Koch, Aurora, granddaughter of the bride, had charge of the guest book. The cake was cut by Mrs. LaVem Koch, Aurora, step-daughter of the bride. Mrs. E. L. Erickson, Waterloo,poured coffee and Mrs. Ralph Whit-cher, West Union, served punch. They are sisters of die bridegroom.Out-of-town guests attended from Waterloo, West Union, Arlington, Lamont, Falrbank, Elgin, and Win- _ throp.The bride is a graduate of Stanley Consolidated school and attended Upper Iowa university at Fayette. The bridegroom is a graduate of Lamont Consolidated school and | is engaged in farming. Following a trip the couple will be at home on -a '-farm northeast of Aurora, jMr. and Mrs. Love will return j Oct. 19 for a wedding dance to be i held In their honor at the Coliseum i ballroom In Oelweln.
