TWO PRETTY1 FALL WEDDINGSMiss Leona Lane, daughter of Mr.\ Mrs Paul Lane of Leon became bride of Gerald Rebert, son of Lr and Mrs. Clarence Rebert of Tampico, in a beautiful fall ceremony performed at two o’clock Fri-day a(ternoon in the Leon church.Rev. Hollis Wharton read the double ring ceremony before the altar decorated with Palms, baskets of fall flowers and candelabra.During the ceremony Lloyd Wild-man accompanied by his mother,Mrs S. G. Wildman, sang “Always and “I Love You Truly.” Mrs. Wild-man also played the weddingmarches.The couple was attended by Mr. an,l Mrs. Harold Crandall Jr. of Tampico. Hale Crandall, ring bearer, was dressed in white. The flower pirl. June Rebert. niece of the groom, wore a floor length dress of pink rayon sharkskin.The bride’s gown was of white satin styled with a sheer net yoke in off the shoulder effect. Tho bodice was lit ted and the long sleeves came to points over the hands. The full skirt extended into a long train. Her fingertip veil of illusion edged In Chantilly lace was held in place by a I a tiara of pearls. Her jewelry consisted | a of pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom. and a pearl necklace which her mother wore on her own wedding day. Her bouquet was of white roses centered with pink carnations.The matron of honor wore pink net I h over taffeta with a fitted bodice and | c full skirt. She carried a shower bouquet and wore pearls, a gift of the bride.tlMrs. Lane chose a Kelly green suit with black accessories. The groom’s mother wore a dress of grey | f gabardine with grey accessories. Both wore corsages, of pink carna- | t lions.Raymond Rebert, brother of the bridegroom and Vesta Vittitow, uncle | fof the bride, served as ushers.A reception was held in the home of tae bride’s parents following the | • ceremony, with about GO relatives hi attendance. The rooms were decorat- * ed in streamers of pink and white. | * wedding bells and baskets of cut flowers. The three tiered wedding cake, topped with a miniature bridal pair, was baked by Mrs. Fred Lofgren. The waitresses, Geraldine and Shirley Koehler and Alzada Spath, wore | lt;white organdy aprons, gifts of the bride.Mrs. Raymond Rebert, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, cut the wedding cake. Mrs. Harold Rebert, also a sister-in-law of the bridegroom, was in charge of the bride’s book, Mrs. 'esta Vittitow, aunt of the bride, poured and Marlene Plautz was in charge of the gifts.I he young couple left for Chicagofollowing the reception. Mrs. Rebert ore a fuchsia suit with grey accessories and the corsage from her bridal bouquet. On their return they will live in a furnished apartment in the C. Lane home.Mrs. Rebert attended the Leon Krade and Prophetstown high schools. Mrs. Rebert graduated from the Tam-pito lijo-ii school and served in the army for 1 r» months, eight months ov,,rseas. lie is engaged in farming.
