POPULAR count WEDSPaul Bland and Miss Pauline Ferguson Married at Speedway, Tuesday.One of the brilliant social events of the season was the wedding of Me. Paul Adams Bland- and Mis® Esther I Pauline Ferguson, at the home of the bride, at Speedway, Tuesday evening, October 18th at 8 o’clock.The home was beautifully decorated j in autumn leaves and an ingeniously contrived water-falls over an electric | light added novelty and beauty to the j effect.| The bride and groom were preceded ! by little flower girls holding to strea-j mers of mull. The father gave the j bride away, and the double ring cere-t niony was used.The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of cream canton crepe with i bridal veil and carried pink roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Marie Hoi-lett of this city, who wore yellow taffeta; Miss Ruth Templeton, who wore pale blue silk and Miss Lenora Jones, who wore pink satin. All carried rcses. Mr. Eugene Ferguson, brother of the bfide acted as best man.The refreshments were pink and white ice cream and angel food cake.The bride is the daughter of Mr. aid Mrs. J. A. Ferguson, former re-| sidents of Browns'burg, now living at I Speedway. She is a young lady of I many accomplishments, and has a host j of friends here who extend their very best wishes. .. /The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus A. Bland of this city, and is ayoung man of excellent habits and sterling worth. Pie was for a long time located in Indianapolis as salesman for Feltman-Crume Shoe Co., where he worked his way to the top and is now manager of Iheir Slate Street store in Chicago.Afer the ceremony the young couple left on a wedding trip to Buffalo I and other points in the east, and will j upon their return, ipake their home hi Chicago, where Mr. Bland has an apartment all furnished and waiting.The Recorl joins the many friends •of the young couple in extending congratulations and very best wishes.
