In Omaha, Nebraska, October 13t'-i, __1920, at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Grace Brooks, occurred the marriage of Mr. Jacob K. Foote, a son of Mrs. Maggie MeDermott, and Miss Hattie Carney; daughter of Mr. Adam Carney, of this vicinity. They will make their home in Lincoln, Nebraska where Jake will take the electrical engineering course provided by the government for ex-service men who wish to take advantage of the offer. Jake was among the fitst of the Anita boys to-enlisl.in the Navy,, and was In active service on the U. S. Battleships,“Seattle,” “Galveston” and “Charls-ton ”
