FASHIONABLE MARRIAGE.The marriage of Lady Susan Lygon, second daughter of Earl Beauchamp, with Mr. Robert Gordon Gilmour, of Craigmillar, Midlothian, took place on Saturdayat Madresfield Court, Earl Beauchamp’s Worcestershire seat Among the few persons present at church, besides members of the families of the bride and bridegroom were the Earl and Countess of Coventry, the Countess of Longford, Lady Catherine Pakenham, and Sir C. and Lady Johnson. The bride worea train of pearl- white satin, draped with Brussels lace. The bodice was trimmed with orange-blossoms. She wore a tulle veil and diamond ornaments. The bridesmaids were Ladies Mary, Margaret, Agnes, and Maufl Lygon (sisters of the bride), Miss Edith Wolrige Gordon (sister of the bridegroom), Lady Catherine Stanhope and Lady Barbara Coventry (cousins of the bride) and Lady Mary Pierrepont. Their dresses were of pale blue pop’inette, trimmed with white silk and sashes of the same, with diamond bracelets and bouquets, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. Walter Wolrige Gordon was best man for his brother. The bride was given away by her father, and the ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. S. Munn, Vicar of Madresfield. Among those present were the Countess Beauchamp, Mr. Wolrige Gordon, Lord and Lady Stanhope, Lord and Lady Raglan, the Dowager-Lady Raglan, the Hon. Granville Somerset, Captain* John Gordon, Lady Mary Pierrepont, etc. After the wedding there was a reception at Madresfield Court, following which the bride and bridegroom departed on their honeymoon, which will be passed in Italy.
