Lawton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Lawton of South Plymouth.The Rev. J. Harold Davies performed the double ring ceremony in a candlelight service in theBroad Street Methodist Church. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a white waltz length gown of acetate lace over taffeta. Her fingertip veil was attached to an open crown of seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white pom pons.Miss Melva Smith was maid of honor and was gowned in peach-pink satin and carried a bouquet of white pom pons. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Betty Ann Palmer and M'^s Slr^ey Tillammsh of Norwich. They wore matching gowns of powder blue taffeta and carried bouquets of yellow pom pons. The bride’s and bridegroom’s mothers both chose dresses of blue with pink and white accessories.Charles Doing served as best man, and ushers were Richard Schermcrhorn and Lee Suspensky.After a reception at the VFW Hall, the couple left on a wedding trip to Virginia. For traveling the bride chose a pink and blue striped dress of acetate with white accessories.The bride is a graduate of South Otselic High School and Cortland Business Institute and is employed by the B. F. Gladding Company in South Otselic. Mr. Lawton was graduated from Norwich Higjh School. He served two years with the U. S.
