OBITUARYJOSKPH%S. BECK.Joseph o. Beck, aged 81, died at 12:30 Monday morning at the home ot his .lt;011, Linden Beck, near Shan-noudale. He had been confined to hi-bed for the past two years.Mr. Be ?k was born Doc. 31, 1837. in Montgomery county and had speiy practically all his life in Montgom orv and Boone counties. Sixty-two years ago ho was united in marriage to Sarah R. Threkeld. Mr. Beck was i; member of the Baptist church and a man of sterling worth.Kb' ilt; survive1 by Jive children: Marcus Bock, of Max; Linden Beck, of near Shnnnondalc; Mrs. Ella Brown, and Mrs. Lane, of near Linnsburg, and Mrs. Amelia Hipes, of Macc.The funeral was held on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Cornelius Airhart. Interment in Beckville cemetery.
