On Wednesday evening, Oct. 19, at the homo of Horace Chapin, in Galesburg, grand-fathor of the bride, by Rev. Vincent of the Congregational church, Forrest Deem, of Galva, lo Miss Clara Wells. Only the relatives ot the contracting parties were present. Mr. Deem has a position in the First National Bank of this city, of which his father is President. He commands the respect and esteem of all who know him. Tho bride was a very successful teacher' for two years |in the primary department of our publicjschools and won many friends while here. They took the train for Omaha, whore they will spend about a week.
