OIL ESSAY WINNERS—Ward County win-ners of an assay entitled Petroleum Industry’s Contribution to West Texas Schools, were announced here Friday. Cash prixes were donated for awards on a local level. Winners art from left to right: Mary Cooper,third, $25; Sandy Poer, first, $75;Reynolds, second. $50. Their papers are being judged on an area level in competitton with those of students from other schools for three scholarships offered by AmericanPetroleum Institute.
