Black Exchange Vows in Siverly ChurchThe marriage of Miss Betty Jane Stanton and Gerald La Verne Black was solemnized at 9 o’clock this morning in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Siverly Rev. K J Kaltenbach. pastor of the church, heard the exchange of vows at the single ring service Mrs. Ella Leskoske pre:ented organ selections and was vocalist during the nupital mass.Bouquets of white chrysanthemums decorated the main alta. of the church. The bride was attired in a blue faille street-length dress and black velvet hat. She wore a shoulder arrangement of red roses and a wrist watch, a gift fromthe bridegroom.Attendants for the couple were Miss Libby Goodman and Richard Russell, both of this city.Miss Goodman wore a brown street-length dress with matching hat and a corsage of red roses.The wedding breakfast was served in the home of the bridegroom’s grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Cothcrman, 182 Glenview Avenue.The table was centered with a three tiered wedding cake, surmounted by a minature bridal couple, and bouquets of white snapdragons and yello\V chrysanthemums. ,Among the guests were Mrs. Donald Morrison of Erie and Mrs Robert Hubbard of Titusville, sisters of the bridegroom The bride attended Oil City High School. Mr. Black graduated from the local high school .and is employed by the Oil Well Supply Company.
