Sain|NM)«VliUoyA pretty wedding was solemnized at 2.30 p.m. on Sept. 30th at W'a-wanesa when a double ring ceremony united in marriage Margaret Jean, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs J I MiHoy, o f Wawanesa, and Kenneth Melville Sampson, second eldest son of Mr. J. D. and the late Mrs Sampson of Stockton. Dr. R. Harvey officiated before an altar of ferns, gladiolas and baby mums.The bride, given in marriage by her father, looked lovely in white frosted nylon with lily point sleeves ;lt;nd bouffant skirt which swept into a long train. Her finger tip veil was held in pfcice with a pearl circlet. She carried a white Bible topped with a mauve orchid and white bou-vardia. Her only ornament was a p«51d pendant set with brilliant and pearls, gift of the groomThe bridesmaid, Miss Viola Pat-terson, wore a gown of pink nylon marquisette over lace. She carried yellow roses and blue carnations.mHer head-dress was held in place with pink rose buds. The groom was attended bv his brother, M r. Wilbur Sampson, of W innipeg, and the ring-bearer was Master GregMillay, of Elm Creek, cousin of the bride. The ushers were Mr. E. Patterson. of Nesbitt, and Mr. K Nor-thev. of Stockton..Mrs F. Noun presided at the organ and during the signing of the register, Mr. J. K. Con sang “I’ll Walk Beside You.**The reception was held a t t h e Lesion Hall and was decorated in4.pink and white streamers and white wedding bells anr bouquets of baby mums. The bride's table was centred with a three tier wedding cake. Mr, C. Henderson proposed the toast to the bride and the groom replied suitably after which Mr. J. K. Cory sang ‘‘Because.The tea pourers were Mrs M. Milloy, grandmother of the bride and Mrs. E. Sigurdson, aunt of the groom. The serviteurs were Misses Alma Wells, Elva Gillespie, Bernice Deck, Eva Orr, Norma Patterson and Norma Sherred. The punch was served by Roly Ferris and Jim McKibbon.For going away the bride wore jnavy- blue gabardine suit with grey accessories. Her corsage was sweetheart roses. The happy couple left on a honeymoon spent in Winnipeg and Kenora. Upon their return will reside on the grooms farm at Stockton.Todd-Frederiekson V ows Said In CaiganCentral United Church, Calgary, i was the scene of a wedding Sept. 23 ! when Eileen Dorothy Frederickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert j Dowd, of Glenboro, Man., was united in marriage to Nelson John j Todd, son of Mrs. Anna Todd, of | Rossbum, Man.
