Cook—Gray.A lovely wedding took place last Thursday night at 7:30 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Gray, when their daughter, Miss Lois Vannice Gray, was united in marriage to Charles H. Cook, son of C. M. Cook, the single ring ceremony was read by Rev. Wayne M. Nicely, pastor of the Methodist church at Battle Ground. Jessie Smith played a program of bridal music preceding the service and as the party entered the parlor the Lohengrin wedding march was played and while the marriage • vows were being said, Miss Smithplayed The Rosary. The parlors wereartistically arranged in baskets andclusters of garden flowers, ferns andwedding bells, the color scheme being- I pink and white.Miss Myrl Cook as maid of honor and Roy E. Cox as best man, with the minister preceded the bride and groom• to the parlors where the ceremony was* read.Ttte bride wore a beautiful gown of white crepe embroidered with pearl be%tis. She carried a shower of Ophe-ia roses. Miss Cook wore pink i crepe de chine and carried a shower' of American Beauty roses. jGarden flowers were used in the dining room where a reception was held for thirty-five guests, immedi-1 ately after the ceremony. Assisting | m the hospitalities were Mrs. Bryan • Inge, Florence Cook, Cecil Royer ' Francis Williamson, Mary Louise Vannice and Florence Marie Boots.Mr. and Mrs. Cook have gone to Hot!Springs, Ark., and Holdensville, Okla.,for their honeymoon trip and after!
