Bill Moore, Stephanie Elliott, Royce Robinson and Bob Bigger, of Gastonia, provided the entertainment for the UMAR family outing in Charlotte on Sept. 29. UMAR is a United Methodist organization which serves adults with developmental disabilities. The picnic was for residents, staff, family members and volunteers. The mission of UMAR is to promote community inclusion and independence for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. UMAR is a ministry of the Western North Carolina conference ofwthe United Methodist Church.
