Siebert-BharaniahElizabeth Siebert and Guruprasad Bharaniah were united in marriage Oct. 11, 1998, at the home of Bob Basset and Marilyn Ray, Hays. The marriage was performed in accordance with Bahai law.Parents of the couple are John and Ruthann Siebert, Blue Springs, Mo., Verna and Michael Nassif, Hays, and Mrs. Shanthamma Bharaniah, Bangalore, India.Sarah Bassett and Kristin York were honor attendants, Paul Nassif, and Scott Nassif, both brothers of the bride, and Timmy Bassett, were groomsmen.The bride is a senior at Fort Hays State University majoring in information networking and telecommunications with computer networking emphasis. The bride is a free lance interpreter of the deaf.The bridegroom graduated from the University of South Dakota with master’s degrees in political science and public administration. He is a financial aide counselor.The couple are at home in Hays.
