Joan Marie Gallia Weds Carl Ernest RhemanCathedral candelabra and baskets of white gladioli entwined with fern decoraled the Wallis Guardian Angel Church for the wedding Sunday evening of MissJoan Marie Gallia and Carl Ernest Rheman.The Rev. Frank Miller officiated at the double ring ceremony at 6 o'clock in the evening.The bride is the daughter of Mi and Mrs. Vince Gallia, Jr., of Wallis and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George S. Rhe-mann of Simonton.Prior to the ceremony andwhile the candles were being lighted by Joe Pustejovsky, Jr., a program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. George Gallia at the organThe bride, escorted by her father, wrore a lovely gowm of ivv blue brocaded faille with em-pire bodice, styled with lavallies neckline caught with a streamer bow in back.She carried a bouquet of vchite carnations centered with an orchid and showered with white satin streamers caught in lovers knots.The bride’s only attendant was Miss Faye Rheman, a sister ofthe eroom. She wore a rovalblue taffeta dress with pink accessories and carried a bouquet of pink carnations with pink lace and satin ribbons.Witnesses were Pete Gallia andVincel Prazak.The usher was George Gallia, j Richard Mullins. Jr., of Brookshire was the groom's best man.The mother of the bride and mother of the groom both chose brown dresses with black accessories and w'ore corsages of pink carnations.Following the ceremony thebride’s parents were host at a j reception in the Youth Center of j1 the Guardian Angel Church. After a delicious j barbecue supper was served the j1 bride cut her cake, which was i1 served to 300 guests by the Jr. j class girls of Wallis High School, j The gift table had been beautifully decorated and piled high i with lovely gifts. jAssisting the bride and groom I in opening and registering of j gifts were Mrs. George Gallia, j Mrs. Justus Urbrish and the groom’s uncle, Carl Lyles of Houston.Mr. and Mrs. Rheman are mak- j ing their home in Rosenberg. j
