• Married.A very pretty home wedding was quietly celebrated in Brimfield last eveningrOct. IT, 1900, it being the marriage of. Miss Bertha S. Kin ;don of Brimfield to Mr. Almon R. Jones, of Galva, Illinois. The ceremony washome of the bride, by Rev. J. E. Mercer, pastor of the Brimfleld M. E. church, imtbe presence of a number of near relatives and ihtfinate friends-of the -families?-—-The bride was attended by Miss .Julia Jones, sister of the groom, and Mr Ross Gu\ er, cousin of the groom, was best man. The wedding march was played by Miss Villa Guyer.After the impressive words of the wedding service had been said and congratulations offered the guests were invited to the ditijng roomjwhere a delicious wedding dinner was served. The home was prettily decorated for the occasion. Both bride and groom are well known and highly respected young people, well fitted to take up life’s journey together, and have the best wishes of a large cire!« of friendr. They will begm housekeeping in a few wee*e near Galva where Mr. Jones owns a nice farm home.Mr. and Mrs. Jones were made the recipients of many useful and valuable wedding gifts, tokens _Iof—fnend--ship and esteem from -relatives and friends.
