Nemec-SkaruppaAngela Lynn Nemec and Daniel Ryan Skaruppa were married in a double-ring ceremony June 26, 2004, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ashtabula. The Rev. Elizabeth Eaton officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony. Debbie Fleming provided organ music.The bride is the daughter of Milo D.Nemec of Ashtabula and Rhonda K. Smith of Great Falls, Mont. The groom’s parents are Andrew J. Skaruppa and Denna F. Skaruppa of Ashtabula.For her wedding the bride chose a gown of French satin designed with a princess neckline enhanced with alencon lace and reembroidered with pearls and sequins. The skirt extended to a cathedral train. She added a pearl and crystal tiara with a shoulder-length veil. To complete her ensemble she wore pearl jewelry, a gift from the groom.The groom was attired in a white five-button Claiborne tuxedo with a lavender vest and tie. He also wore a white bowler hat and white gloves.The maid of honor was Stephanie Rickett of Ashtabula. Bridesmaids included Christine Gaskell of Ashtabula and Nicole Zuern of Great Falls, sister of the bride. Flower girls were DaHai Skaruppa, daughter of the bride and groom, and Tiara Babitt, cousin of the groom.Serving as best man was Michael Short -ridge of Ashtabula. Groomsmen were Corey Shortridge and Teke Skaruppa, nephew ofMR. and MRS. DANIEL SKARUPPA(Angela Lynn Nemec)the groom, of Ashtabula. Ring bearers were Treven Skaruppa, nephew of the groom, and Brian Starkey, nephew of thebride.A reception for the couple was held at Knights of Columbus.The groom graduated from Ashtabula High School and Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School Auto Body program. He is employed at Tops.The couple reside in Ashtabula.
