Raquel Walsh weds 7 odd Johnson at First Presbyterian ChurchRaquel Rene Walsh and Todd Alan Johnson were united in riage on Saturday, Sept 21, 1991 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellsboro,The Rev. Robert Upton performed the double ring ceremo-ny.Darlene Baker, of Wells boro, who sang “Evergreen, and Marilyn Baker Bellesfield, of Harrisburg, who sang “All of Me, were accompanied by organist Kay Galloway, of Wellsboro. Other songs in the ceremony were “Parents’ Prayer/’ “To Me” and “The Lord’s Prayer,” sung in duet by the singers.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Walsh, of Wells-boro.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Johnson, of Asheboro, N.C.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin with a Sabrina neck line accented with beads and sequins on re-embroidered alencon and silk Venice lace with long tapered sleeves, featuring silk Venice lace insets and bows. The princess-style bodice over a full skirt with satin back bow flowed into a chapel-length train edged with silk Venice lace. Her headpiece was an ivory satin bow with illusion pouf and lily of the valley trailing down the two-tier fingertip illusion veil.She carried a cascading bouquet of off-white and red roses with ivy, tree fern and baby’s breath.The bride chose Jennifer Kri-ner, friend of the bride, of Wells-boro, as her matron of honor. She wore an ivory-print satin tea-length gown with lace applique trim, sweetheart neckline and puffed sleeves and carried two long-stemmed off-white roses with tree fern and baby’s breath.Bridesmaids were Billianne Walsh, sister of the bride, of Wellsboro; Karen Johnson, sister of the groom, of Wellsboro; Andrea Focht, cousin of the bride, of Wellsboro.They wore gowns identical to that of the matron of honor and each bridesmaid carried a longstemmed red rose with tree fern and baby’s breath.The flower girl was Baillee Driscoll, friend of the bride, ofMR. AND MRS. TOOD JOHNSONWellsboro. ShJ wore a red satin tea-length gown, featuring lace trim, back bow and bustle. She carried a basket trimmed in ivory lace with off-white carnations and red tea roses.The bride’s mother wore a navy blue tea-length crepe dress accented with an ivory, lace-trimmed collar.The groom’s mother wore a plum street-length dress accented with gold buttons and belt.Best man for the groom was Brian Kriner, friend ofthe groom, of Wellsboro.Serving as ushers were Steve Smith, friend of the groom, of Wellsboro; Robert Johnson, cousin of the groom, of Reading; Joe Wilson, friend of the groom, of Wellsboro.Spencer Johnson, cousin of the groom, of Camp Hill, was ri4g bearer.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Morris Social Hall with music provided by Bob Koehn.The bride is a graduate of Wellsboro Area High School and is employed by Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.The groom is a graduate of Wellsboro Area High School and is employed by Toshiba Display Devices Inc., Horseheads, N.Y.After a wedding trip to New York, the couple is residing in Wellsboro.
