Walker,.of east Washington street, and J. Frank Deitzer, former lieutenant, which occurred at eight o'clock Wednesday night at the home of the bride’s parents..Mr. and. jUrs. Dei tier left last night for Indianapolis and today left there for a short wedding trip to St. Louis. Mo., and Chicago. 111.The simple ring ceremony was performed promptly at eight o’cIock by fha Rev. George M. Smith, pastor of the Roberts Park M.. E. church, Indianapolis, formerly pastor of the First church here.. The bride unattended was met at the bottom of the stairs of the Walker home, by the groom and marched to the altar of hanked fernB and cathedral candles TuifU before the fireplace in the living room. Little Miss-Jlorothy Metzger and sister Mary Louise Metzger, daughters or .Mr. and Mrs. ^ Peter Metzger, of west Mechanic street, acted as flower girl and ring bearer, attending the bride and groom at the altar. Preceding -the ceremony Miss Josephfne Wray, of west Broadway, sang a two number program. 0 Dry Thoso Tears/' and I Lore You Truly/' with Miss Merrill Rhoades at the piano. Miss Rhoades played the wedding march and also McDowell's To a Wild Rose, during the ceremony.After the service a wedding din-; ncr was served. Immediately after the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Deitzer went to Indianapolis by automobile, from whence they went to St Louis, to-1 day.The decorations of the home. likeiall other appointments, were ar-. ranged upon simple designs. The lights of the library and dining room were entwined with fern. Baskets of Roses Premier and Fall flowers deco-. rated the rooms and hall of ^.tho’ Walker home.
