WADEGARRETSON.A Union of Two of Cleveland's BestFamilies.At noon yesterday the marriage ot Mr; J. H. Wade, Jr., son of the late Randall P. Wade, and grandson ot Mr. J. H. Wade, to Miss Nellie, daughter of tbe late Hiram Gar-retson,_was solemnized at the residence of the bride’s mother. No. 935 Euclid avenue. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. C. Haydn, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, in the presence of only the relatives and most intinjate friends of both families. The groomsmen - were Mr. Will Backus and Mr. Charles Teale, ancl the bridesmaids Miss Alice Wade aud Miss Kit-tie Beckwith. The bridal trousseau was beautiful and becoming, consisting ot white brocade satin with pearl trimmings. She also wore a handsome diamond set and necklace. The bridesmaids were tastefully attired in dressss of white satin with lace trimmings.The residence w3 beautifully decorated. In all parts of the house sweet smelling flowei*s and plants had been arranged, and upon the walls and ceiling were wreaths and festoons in every attractive form. In tiie parlor where the w(.Hiding took place an artistic canopy of smilax, interwoven with birds and white blossoms, was spread, adding very much to the appearance of the room.From 1 o’clock until 3 a general reception was held, and during all that time the newly wedded pair were kept busy receiving the' hearty congratulations of their many friends. Fully five hundred people called* The presents were numerous and costly, those from the relatives being particularly handsome. Mr. and Mrs. Wade left on the early train last night for the West Their wedding tour will be somewhat extended, and it will be some little time before their return to Cleveland.
