She is a 19(39 graduate of Lubbock High School and is employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tom Brown of Abernathy are parents of the bridegroom. A 196? graduate of Abernathy High School, Brown has served in the U.S. Marines and is employed by Texas Tech.Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a gown of satin overlaid in alencon lace, fashioned with an A-line skirt and empire waistline.Mrs. Joe T, Brown Jr. was matron of honor. Flower girt was Melinda Britton.Joe Tom Brown Jr. served his brother as best man. Guests were seated byTech. He is serving in the National Guard and is in basic training at Ft. Sill.
