They wore white Eton suits with black bow ties end carried the rings on white satin pillows.Frank Joyce. Jr. attended Mr. Forbes as best mao and ushers were Alfred Smith of Greenville, John McCormick and Jack Griffin of Sanford. E. C. Winslow, Jr Tarboro. Authur Goodwyn and Fred Fountain of Leggett.Mrs. Fountain, mother of the bride wore a gown of toast silk creoe with bead trim. Hex corsage was a spray of Cymbidium orchids. Mrs. Forbes, mother of the bridegroom, wore a gown of winter pink brocade. Her corsage was a lavender orchid. Mrs. D P. Thomas, grandmother of the bridegroom, wore a lavender gown with Palmer violets.Reception At HomeImmediately following the ceremony, the brides mother,entertained at a reception at herhome. The bridal color scheme of green and white was preval-ent throughout the house in many noral arrangements. The dining table was centered with a lovely arrangement of Snow White roses and trailing plumosus entwining silver candelabra and tall white tapers.For traveling the bride wore an Adele Simpson original blackbroadcloth suit, highlighted bvcollar, with capelet effect and velvet bow tie.
