Miae Dora Moreland of this city, was married in Council Bluffs yesterday to a man by the name of Palmer, a son of the gunsmith Palmer in this city, The groom will be remembered by many Atlantieites as the person who painted the big sign which formerly hung on the south wail of the poatoflice room, a vivid landscape in the center with cards of representative business men around it. Wednesday afternoon Dora went to Omaha, Bhe had been induced to take this step by Palmer and did not have the conser t of her mother in the matter. Marshal Herbert, fearing that the man’s intentions were not strictly honorable iol lowed her to Omaha and kept himself informed as to her doings. A few days before this Palmer had inserted the following “want” in the Omaha Bee: Wanted—A position by a young married lady as dining room girl for her and husband’s board.” This showed apart of enterprise on the part of the intended gro^m if nothing else, but after seeing that they were properly married Mar 3hal Herbert returned to Atlantic this noon, leaving the young couple to fight their own way in the big wicked city oJOmaha.
