Bridal Shower HonorsMiss Linda LopezThe BranchviUe home of Mr and Mrs John Ortiz was thesetting for a bridal shower held on Sundav afternoon to honor their granddaughter. Miss Linda Ann Lopez, bride-elect of Santos Rios Mrs Jesse Lopez, mother of the prospective bride, assisted in hostessduties for the prenuptial courtesy that lasted from one until three o’clock in the afternoon.Miss Lopez wore a white •orchid corsage, a gift from her hostesses, as she greeted guests upon their arrival and requested that they sign the registry before being ushered into the party rooms that were decorated with pink and white crepe paper streamers.A long, low, white linen laid coffee table displayed the many lovely gifts for all to admire.Refreshments of sandwiches, salted nuts, cake and red fruit punch were served to thehonoree and Mrs. Albert Rios, Mrs. Adolf Rios, Mrs. Adrian• *Cordova, Miss Marie Cordova, Miss Anita Rios, Miss Cynthia Vallejo, Mrs. Ralph Trujillo, Miss Linda Gomez, Miss Patricia Lopez, Miss Gloria Lopez, Miss Mary Lopez, Mrs. Mary Ann Ortiz and Mrs. Aurora Vaughn.Mrs. Lupe Rodriguez was unable to attend but sent her best wishes with a gift.
