tBorn-Luxem Vows RepeatedMr. and Mrs. Earl H. Born Jr. (Judith Luxem) are at home at 2001 Sixteenth St. after a trip to northern Wisconsin following their marriage at 7 p. m. on Sept. 22 in Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Dr. Kenneth Hurst officiated as the daughter of Joseph Luxem, 935 Racine St. and Mrs. Bernard Ruilmann, 1145 Villa St., and the son of the senior Borns, of 269 Luedtke Ave., exchanged their vows.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly lace over satinwith scalloped yoke and a floor-length skirt of tiered lace and tulle extending into a cathedral train. A plateau of lace and tulle trimmed with pearls and sequins held her veil and white roses and mums were combined in her bouquet.Her attendants, in ballerina length gowns of rust taffeta with fitted bodices and bustle bows, were Sandra Luxem, her sister's maid of honor, Mrs. Kathleen Born, bridesmaid, and Ruth Ann and Linda, Luxem, who were their sister’s junior bridesmaids. Braided velvet bandeaux and bouquets of yellow roses and bronze mumscompleted their ensembles.Best man was John Born,—Zahn PhotoMrs. Earl H. Bom Jr. .brother of the bridegroom, and ushers were Ralph Born and Peter Luxem, brothers of the bridal pair, and Jim Ruppel. The candlelight rites with Ed-lie McCarthy as soloist preceded a reception in Roma Lodge where Mrs. Sharon Spencer and Mrs. Mary Downie poured. The bride's mother witnessed the events in a yellow taffeta gown with white accessories and a corsage of tea roses and the bridegroom's mother wore beige lace with brown, accessories and tea roses.Mean elevation of the North American continent is 2,000 feet, Africa’s is 1,900 feet.
