Donald Hayes weremarried at 10:30 Saturday the bride carried the white handkerchief which the groom’s mother had carried at her wedding 59 years ago.The couple exchanged vows and rings in the ceremony performed by Rev. R. J. Hunter in the Baptist parsonage on N.Union ave. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Miller, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, were their only attendants.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Miller of 183 Woodland ave. and Mr. Hayes is'the son of Mrs. Myra D. Hayes of 690 N. Lincoln ave and the i ate Albert Hayes.A corsage of talisman roses complemented Miss Millers tail I ored ensemble. Her bolero jacket was in taupe-colored crepe and the straight-line dress was brown as were her accessories.Mrs Miller’s costume of grey and black crepe was patterned after that of the bride. She used black accessories and wore a corsage of red roses.Immediately following the ceremony the newlyweds left on a trip through the eastern states.After their return from a two-week honeymoon they will greet their friends and relatives at a reception Sunday, Oct. 29. in the Miller home on Woodland ave.No formal invitations have been issued.They will be at home in their ipartment on Vine ave after Nov.1. Mrs. Hayes is employed in the office of the Home Savings and Loan Co., while her husband has been associated with the Strouss-Hirshberg store here. i
