The Wedding Processional by Stultz and the Recessional by Kreckel were played by Sister M. Philippine.BrideMr. Gerdes gave his daughter in marriage. Her gown of white satin was styled with sweetheart bodice. Narrow* lace ruffling edged the high necked marquisette yoke and the wrists of the long fitted sleeves. The skirt, ending in a long train, was draped in front to reveal a lace ruffled underskirt. Her fingertip veil fell from a Juliet cap embroidered with seed pearls. She wore fatching satin slippers and carried a shower bouquet of a white orchid surrounded by foline and shattered wrhite chrysanthemums.Miss Doris Gerdes was her sister’s maid of honor. Gowned in pale green taffeta with elbow length sleeves, shirred sweetheart bodice, and net overskirt, she wore a dark green velvet cap and matching gloves. Her flowers were a cascade bouquet of red pompon chrysanthemums.Bridesmaids were Miss Florence McMains, city, Mrs. H. Lyle Long, Denver, Colo., Mrs. J. Robert Perney, Topeka. Kan., and Miss Jackie Kudje, Maosn City, Iowa. An artistic ar-white chrysanthemums beautifiedNellie Bly Division Fetes Past PresidentsThe Nellie Bly division of the G.I.A. to the B. of L. E. entertained past presidents and members at a 1 o’clock luncheon Thursday, Oct. 11, in the K of C hall. Floral arrangements decorated the tables, and place cards at the guest table, at which the 11 past presidents were seated, included the dates of the presidency of each.President Blanche Parre presented gifts to the honor guests and introduced her daughter, Lt. Pauline Parre, ANC, who spoke of her overseas experiences. Brief talks were also made by the past presidents.During the regular meeting, Jessie Marsh, past president, presided. Other offices were filled by Past Presidents Jessie Spink, Agnes Bohner, Effie Woodworth, Maggie Bellew*.
