Her death fol-1 lowed a lingering il’oess. Mrs. Lu-core's home was at 427- J avenue.Harriett Obenchain was born at Independence March'2$, 1$77. She had lived In this dry for twenty-two years. Eighteen years ago she was * married -to Mr. Lucore. - Besides her husband, Mrs. Lucore leaves two sons, Ralph, aged 12, and Richard, aged 2.Relatives Were Notified.Yesterday morning Coroner King with the case of John Smith, the colored porter on the .Rock Island train, who died suddenly while on his run near Vinton. Relatives of the man were located In Texas, he having there a mother, brother, sister, and it is also understood a wife from 1 whom he was separated. * They were; all notified, 'and it was expected that-they will order a disposition of the remains, which were removed to Beatty's undertaking parlors.Smith was .about; forty; years old, and had been in the service of the Hock Island for. several years. He was formerly employed down in Texas, and about a year ago came to this city and ran out of here on the I northern, division. He roomed o*.f Eighth avenue and Fourth street 'Funeral Notice.The funeral of the late Mrs. F L. Lucore will be held this afternoon from the residence. 4 27 J avenue west The interment will be in Linn-wood cemetery.
