Gronis, became the wife of Mr, John McCne, son of Mr. end Mrs. James MeCne, Sr., who live south of fche river in Como. lha ceremony was performed by the Bev. Father Bennettat 10:30 o’clock.After the tying of the knot a reception was tendered the happy couple at the 'home of the bride’s parents on West Fifth street. Only the near relatives and intimate friends of the bride add groom were present, An elaborate wedding dinner was served. The Qronis home was prettily decorated for the occasion.The bride was Rttired in a gown of blue worsted and carded cream roses. The maid of honor, Miss Jennie Gronis, a sister to the bride, was becomingly attired for the occasion. The beat man was John Welch, of Deer Grove.. The bride was beautifully remember ®d with a large number of handBome presents. .The couple will take no wedding trip, bat will at once go to housekeeping at the old McCue homestead, where the groom was born.Both of the young people are estimable and have a large number of friends In this city and vicinity. The bilde is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gronis. She received her education at fcho public schools here and is bright and attractive. She la of a loving and amiable disposition, and all who know her iove her, She will make a true and helpful wife. The groom is a steady and industrious young man who can count his friends by the score. He is worthy in every way of the lady to whom he has plighted his troth and will make her a kind and loving husband.The Standard joins with the many friends of the happy couple In extending to them beat wlabes for the future and the heartiest of congratulations.
