Hobaugh-Gross wed in Chapel III ceremony, will live in LouisianaCarol Ann Hobaugh. of River Ridge, La., became the bride of Michael Joseph Gross, of Detroit. Mich., in a candlelight ceremony Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. at Chapel III. Eglin AFB. The Rev Father Neil Daley presided over the ceremony. Mark Zink and Ed Fischer of Taylor, Mich, served as ringbearers and organist Mrs. Betsy Thomas and vocalist Mrs. Julie O’Rourke presented a program of wedding music.The bride is the daughter of Col. (ret.) and Mrs. John H. Hobaugh of Shalimar and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gross of Detroit. Mich.The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her matron of honor was her sister-in-law, Mrs. Michael E. Hobaugh.The groom chose Ken Nielsen of Houston, Texas as his best man. Ushers were Edward Fischer, Harold Lucas, David Keene and Mark Zink.The reception was held at the Eglin Officers’ ClubFollowing a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains the couple will make their home in Destrahan, La.
